Can I make a backup of my playlists and restore them?

To transfer your playlists quickly from one computer to another, we added a backup feature in Audirvāna settings.


Create a backup of your playlists


In this article:


Step 1: Go into Audirvāna settings


You will need to click on the Local/Library section of Audirvāna settings to access the option:




Step 2: Click on the Backup button


In the backup section, click the Backup button, name your file, and select where you want to store it.


Once created, you end up with a file with audirvana_bck extension.


Note: this create a backup of your playlists, favorites and the artists pictures you added in Audirvāna.


Restoring your playlists


Step 1: Go into Audirvāna settings


You will need to click on the Local/Library section of Audirvāna settings to access the option:




Step 2: Click on the Restore button 


In the backup section, click the Restore button, select your file, and click Open.


A popup will appear to update you on the restore process.


Note: you may have duplicates of playlists if you already have imported some of them in your Audirvāna with the same name as the playlists in your backup.
