Filtering content in Audirvāna is possible thanks to its filter editor.
The editor is split into two parts:
- Rule-based selection is used for defining smart playlists
- A selection according to successive filters.
A filter consists of choosing a criterion from the list and defining a value among those present in the selection.
Thus, you can refine the selection by choosing, for example, only a particular artist, a particular year of publication, a specific conductor, a certain type of audio file, etc.

Filtering in Audirvāna

Step 1: Open the filter editor
When you can filter a view in Audirvāna, you can click on the funnel icon in the toolbar to open the filter editor of Audirvāna:
Step 2: Changing the order
You can add up to twenty filters depending on the view you want to filter.
Once you choose your filter, click on the menu selection at the right of it and select the criteria you want. Your view will automatically change.
You will also see the number of active filters/rules when looking at the icon of the filter editor:
You can delete one or more of these criteria by clicking the trash icon.
