Audirvāna will deliver outstanding playback performance with default settings.

First, remember that the quality and resolution of your music file are the most important. As transparent as it may be, a high-end system can only emphasize the flaws of the original signal.

Now, to get the most out of Audirvāna, here are a few settings you can try depending on your DAC and OS platform:

- If you play on a PC and don't want to play native DSD, you should try to select Kernel Streaming mode in your computer's settings. Since it is the lowest programming language accessible on PC, it generally delivers optimal transparency on this platform. For native DSD, you have to use ASIO.

- If you play on a Mac, the performance will be optimal with the latest generation of processors - Apple Silicon - M1, M2, etc. You can also activate SysOptimizer in your computer's settings.

- You can also try activating the upsampling. The benefit can vary depending on your DAC. So, there is not an optimal setting for all systems, but it's worth trying with yours. Try both upsampling algorithms (SoX and R8brain) and different settings for each, starting with 'power of two'.
