When you sync content with Audirvāna Studio, we analyze the tracks and provide an ID from MusicBrainz that can be stored inside your track. This is done in the background; you can use Audirvāna Studio and exit the application whenever you want. The scan will pick up where it left off before quitting.

It helps recognize your recordings, giving you more information about your music and offering you more relevant related music in your streaming service.

By default, this option is not enabled, but if you want the ID written in your track's metadata, you have a choice in Audirvāna Studio.

Saving MusicBrainz track ID

Audirvāna Studio doesn't add this information to the track and stores it in the local database file of Audirvāna Studio.

The ID matching this audio fingerprint can be added to your audio file’s metadata, avoiding repeating the scan if you install Audirvāna Studio on another computer to play the same library.

Note: If you activate the option after you synced a folder, you will need to resync this folder
