How to install Audirvāna Studio/Origin?

You can install Audirvāna Studio/Origin on as many computers as you want; however, you can connect your account to only one computer simultaneously.


In this article


You first need to create an account to use Audirvāna, which gives you access to the installation file you can download on your account (more about how to create your account).



Depending on your operating system, the installation of the software is different:


Install Audirvāna on macOS

 

  • Double-click on the Audirvana x.x.x.dmg file you downloaded.


  • Agree with Audirvāna Studio/Audirvāna Origin contract.


  • Drag and drop the Audirvāna Studio/Origin icon to the Application folder:




Install Audirvāna on Windows 


To install and update Audirvana on Windows 10/11, you need an App-Installer; this app is installed by default when using Windows 10 1803.


You can install it free from the Microsoft Store if you don't have it.


Depending on the version of Windows you use, you may require some extra steps before doing the installation of Audirvāna:

The process to install Audirvāna on Windows Server



Once you have the App-Installer installed, double-click on the installation file, which will open the Audirvāna Studio/Audirvāna Origin installation:




Note: in case you have an error, please check if App Installer is up to date. If it's the case, contact us with a screenshot of the error you get.


Install Audirvāna on Linux


To install the package, you must follow the procedure based on your Linux distribution:


Once installed, the executable will be in /opt/audirvana/studio or /opt/audirvana/origin, where you can start Audirvāna.


To start automatically Audirvāna Studio/Audirvāna Origin as a service at boot, a shell script setAsService.sh can be found in the same folder.

Preferences file are in ~/.config/audirvana

Audirvāna database and log files are in ~/.local/share/audirvana
